Functions and Responsibilities

Designing and periodically revising the curriculum for all academic programs of the institute in compliance with established norms.
Organizing and ensuring adequate teaching resources to support the successful completion of academic programs.
Arranging and managing the conduct of examinations as required.
Recommending to the Governing Body the conferment of degrees and academic titles.
Overseeing the operations and management of the institute's central library.
Promoting and facilitating research initiatives within the institute.
Establishing collaborations with other academic institutions and industry partners.
Creating an enabling environment to foster entrepreneurship development.
Maintaining and enforcing discipline among students.
Facilitating and supervising co-curricular activities to enhance student engagement and development.
Motivating students through awards, stipends, scholarships, medals, and prizes.
Guiding students in leveraging placement and training opportunities to advance their careers.
Constituting committees comprising faculty members and external experts to address specific academic issues and implementing their recommendations after due deliberation.
Appointing review committees periodically to assess academic activities, including curricula and academic policies, and acting on their recommendations after careful evaluation.
Strategizing and implementing plans for the institute's overall academic growth, including periodic assessments, and making recommendations to the Governing Body as necessary.
